Copy Note

Overview

This video demonstrates the Copy Note command in Nitro-CELL, which copies a note's text content from one Creo model to another. This is useful for transferring annotations between models, such as copying revision notes or manufacturing instructions from a source part to a target part. The command reads the note text from the source model and writes it to the same or a different note on the target model. The video shows how to specify the source and target models and note names, execute the command, and verify the note was copied correctly.

Key Steps

  1. Ensure both source and target models are open in the Creo session
  2. Enter the Copy Note command with source and target model and note names
  3. Execute the command to transfer the note text
  4. Verify the target model received the correct note content
  5. Save the target model to persist the copied note

Tips

  • Both models must be in session for the copy to work
  • Use Copy Note to synchronize annotations between related models
  • Combine with wildcard variants for bulk note copy operations
