ExportPDF Model

Overview​

This video demonstrates the ExportPDF Model command in Nitro-CELL, which exports the active Creo model or drawing to PDF format from an Excel worksheet. PDF export is commonly used for sharing 2D drawings and documentation with stakeholders who do not have access to Creo. The command triggers Creo's PDF export and saves the output to a specified location. The video shows how to configure the export command, specify the output path, execute the export, and verify the PDF was generated correctly. This is useful for automated documentation workflows where drawings need to be regularly published as PDFs.

Key Steps​

  1. Open the model or drawing to export in the Creo session
  2. Enter the ExportPDF command with the output path and filename
  3. Execute the command to generate the PDF file
  4. Verify the PDF was created in the specified directory
  5. Open the PDF to confirm the content and formatting are correct
