tbl_model : DELETE_RELATIONS

Overview​

This video demonstrates the tbl_model DELETE_RELATIONS command in Nitro-CELL, which deletes relations from Creo models listed in an Excel table. Relations in Creo are equations that drive dimensions, parameters, and feature behavior. This command removes all relations from each model specified in the table, which is useful for cleaning up models, removing outdated logic, or preparing models for a fresh set of relations. The video covers setting up the model list, executing the bulk deletion, and verifying the relations were removed from each model.

Key Steps​

  1. Create an Excel table listing models whose relations should be deleted
  2. Ensure all target models are accessible in the Creo session
  3. Enter the tbl_model DELETE_RELATIONS command referencing the table
  4. Execute the command to remove relations from all listed models
  5. Verify the relations were deleted and save the affected models

Tips​

  • This removes all relations from the model — use with caution
  • Back up models before deleting relations as they drive design intent
  • Combine with GET_RELATIONS to review existing relations before deletion
