AssembleAll Model Wildcard

Overview

This video demonstrates the AssembleAll Model Wildcard command in Nitro-CELL, which assembles all models matching a wildcard pattern into the active assembly. Unlike the standard Assemble Wildcard, AssembleAll is designed to handle comprehensive assembly operations where every matching model should be included. The video shows how this command searches for all models that match the pattern, assembles each one into the target assembly, and reports the results. This is particularly useful for building complete assemblies from a directory of component files that follow a consistent naming convention.

Key Steps

  1. Open the target assembly in the Creo session
  2. Enter the AssembleAll Model Wildcard command with the component pattern
  3. Execute the command to assemble all matching models
  4. Review the assembly tree to confirm all components were added
  5. Save the assembly to persist the complete structure

Tips

  • Ensure all component files are in the search path before running AssembleAll
  • Use this command for initial assembly builds where all matching components should be included
  • Review the assembly tree after execution to verify correct component placement
