tbl_model : ASSEMBLE_SUPPRESS

Overview​

This video demonstrates the tbl_model ASSEMBLE_SUPPRESS command in Nitro-CELL, which assembles components from an Excel table into a Creo assembly and then suppresses them. This two-step operation is useful for pre-loading components into an assembly in a suppressed state, allowing engineers to selectively resume them later based on configuration logic. The command reads each row from the table, assembles the component, and immediately suppresses it. The video covers setting up the component table, executing the command, and verifying the components appear suppressed in the Creo model tree.

Key Steps​

  1. Create an Excel table with components to assemble in a suppressed state
  2. Open the target assembly in the Creo session
  3. Enter the tbl_model ASSEMBLE_SUPPRESS command referencing the table
  4. Execute the command to assemble and suppress all listed components
  5. Verify the components appear suppressed in the Creo model tree
