SetCreate Parameter Wildcard

Overview​

This video demonstrates the SetCreate Parameter Wildcard command in Nitro-CELL, which applies the SetCreate operation across multiple models matching a wildcard pattern. This command creates the parameter if it does not exist and sets its value on every in-session model whose name matches the specified pattern. It is the most efficient way to standardize a parameter across a large number of models in a single operation. The video shows how to construct the wildcard pattern, specify the parameter details, and execute the command. It also demonstrates how to verify the results across all affected models.

Key Steps​

  1. Load all target models into the Creo session
  2. Enter the SetCreate Parameter Wildcard command with the pattern, name, value, and type
  3. Execute the command to apply across all matching models
  4. Review the status output to confirm which models were processed
  5. Save all affected models using the Save Wildcard command
