Delete Feature Suppressed Wildcard

Overview​

This video demonstrates the Delete Feature Suppressed Wildcard command in Nitro-CELL, which permanently removes all suppressed features matching a wildcard pattern from a Creo model. This is a cleanup command that targets features which are both suppressed and match the specified naming pattern, removing them entirely from the model. This is useful for finalizing model configurations where suppressed features are no longer needed and should be permanently removed to simplify the model tree and reduce file size. The video shows how to construct the pattern, execute the command, and verify the results.

Key Steps​

  1. Open the model containing suppressed features to delete
  2. Enter the Delete Feature Suppressed Wildcard command with the feature name pattern
  3. Execute the command to permanently remove all matching suppressed features
  4. Review the model tree to confirm the features were removed
  5. Regenerate and save the model to persist the cleanup

Tips​

  • This command only deletes features that are both suppressed and match the pattern
