ResumeChildren Model

Overview

This video demonstrates the ResumeChildren Model command in Nitro-CELL, which resumes all suppressed child components of a specified model within an assembly. When a parent component or sub-assembly has suppressed children, this command restores all of them in a single operation. This is more efficient than resuming each child individually and ensures the complete sub-assembly structure is restored. The video shows how to target the parent model, execute the command, and verify that all child components were resumed in the assembly tree.

Key Steps

  1. Open the assembly containing the parent model with suppressed children
  2. Enter the ResumeChildren Model command with the parent model name
  3. Execute the command to resume all suppressed child components
  4. Review the assembly tree to confirm all children were restored
  5. Save the assembly to persist the changes

Tips

  • This command only affects direct children of the specified model
  • Regenerate the assembly after resuming children to update geometry
  • Use this command to quickly restore a complete sub-assembly configuration
