Resume Model using Wildcards

Overview

This video demonstrates the Resume Model Wildcard command in Nitro-CELL, which resumes multiple suppressed components in an assembly using wildcard pattern matching. Instead of resuming components one at a time, this command restores all suppressed components whose names match the specified pattern. This is efficient for managing assembly configurations where groups of components need to be toggled together. The video shows how to construct the wildcard pattern, execute the command, and verify that all matching components were restored to their active state in the assembly tree.

Key Steps

  1. Open the assembly containing suppressed components
  2. Enter the Resume Model Wildcard command with the component name pattern
  3. Execute the command to resume all matching suppressed components
  4. Review the assembly tree to confirm the correct components were restored
  5. Save the assembly to persist the changes

Tips

  • Use the same wildcard pattern you used for suppression to resume the same group
  • Only suppressed components matching the pattern will be affected
  • Combine with Regenerate to update assembly geometry after resuming components
