Resume Feature

Overview​

This video demonstrates the Resume Feature command in Nitro-CELL, which restores a previously suppressed feature in a Creo model. Resuming a feature brings it back into the model's active geometry, re-enabling its contribution to the model shape and any dependent features. The command targets a specific feature by name or ID and changes its state from suppressed to active. The video shows how to enter the Resume Feature command, execute it, and verify the feature is restored in the model tree and visible in the graphics window. This command is the counterpart to Suppress Feature and is essential for managing model configurations.

Key Steps​

  1. Open the model containing the suppressed feature
  2. Enter the Resume Feature command with the feature name or ID
  3. Execute the command to restore the feature to active state
  4. Verify the feature is active in the model tree and visible in the graphics
  5. Regenerate and save the model to persist the change

Tips​

  • Resuming a feature may also resume its child features depending on the model structure
  • Regenerate after resuming to ensure geometry is fully updated
  • Use Resume Feature in combination with Suppress Feature to toggle model configurations
