Resume Model
Overview
This video demonstrates the Resume Model command in Nitro-CELL, which resumes a suppressed component within a Creo assembly. When a component has been suppressed in an assembly, the Resume Model command restores it to its active state, making it visible and included in assembly calculations again. The video shows how to specify the component to resume, execute the command from the Excel worksheet, and verify the component is restored in the assembly tree. This command is the counterpart to Suppress Model and is essential for managing assembly configurations through automation.
Key Steps
- Open the assembly containing the suppressed component
- Enter the Resume Model command with the component name
- Execute the command to restore the component to active state
- Verify the component is active in the assembly tree
- Save the assembly to persist the resumed state
Tips
- Resume Model restores the component with its original placement constraints
- Use Resume in combination with Suppress to toggle assembly configurations
- Regenerate the assembly after resuming to update mass properties and interference checks
